After five million years of evolution, no
one can expect men to change in little more
than 10,000 years. Simply put; men have the
built-in desire to spread their seed to as
many acceptable companions as possible. It
is simply survival of the species: within
nature, the male mates with numerous females
in order to ensure the survival of the species
through production of offspring. The practice
of infidelity can be seen throughout the
world and, for the most part, is accepted
as a way of life despite the fact that many
find it morally reprehensible.
It is well known that for most men,
cheating
comes quite easily and with few feelings
of guilt. This has to do with the fact
that
it is so widely accepted. Most men
have friends
who at least "claim" to cheat
all
the time, whether it is with a mistress
or
at the local "massage parlor."
Most men even think of it as putting
another
notch on their sexual headboard, and
the
number of notches that one has comes
off
as a reflection of one's accomplishments
and builds their reputation as masters
of
sexual technique.

Let's face it; when it comes to men

it's not solely about relationships.
There's
poker, taxes, work, and just about
anything
else that you can think of. If it can

done, then men will find some way to
cheat.
So it is no surprise that it comes

shave a few pounds off when discussing
their
weight, or shaving a few years off
their
age when claiming their youth.

men, women also have a biological urge
to
cheat. During ovulation, it is instinctive
for them to seek out and acquire the
best/most
fertile/strongest sperm to impregnate
them.
Aha! So that's why women are naturally
drawn
to men with good hunter instincts such
as
those with large muscular frames or
a Porsche
911.
Biologically speaking, when women ovulate,
they have a desire to become impregnated
by the best sperm possible. And the
best
sperm usually comes from men who are
physically
appealing and strong. So you better
watch
yourself.
As well, the introduction of the birth
control
pill gave women the ability to cheat
even
more since they could then control
pregnancy
while still seeking out numerous mates.
So
they can feed their desire to mate
with the
hottest guy in the room but keep themselves
from dropping babies every year.
Still, in the end, men are more likely
to
cheat than women. And women perpetuate
this
by allowing themselves to get fat or
starving
us for sex, then accepting the overall
societal
infidelity. So if women accept it,
then why
would men stop doing it?
Boys will be boys, and, well, boys
like boobs
-- especially ones that we have not
already
thoroughly fondled. So as long as there
are
women of, let's call it, loose moral
character
out there to cheat with, then men will
cheat.
That's simply the way it has always
been
and always will be.
